My chapter book manuscript, CAT-NAPPED!, was a finalist in the Children's Picture/Chapter Book Category of the 2024 Pacific Northwest Writers' Association Literary Contest.
I'm excited it was recognized, though it didn't win. I plan to make CAT-NAPPED! the first book in The Farmyard Mysteries series.
At the awards banquet, I met up with author Louise Hawes, which was a blast.
Congratulations to all the contest winners, including my friend Ann Haywood Leal whose manuscript won second place in the YA category!
